Paparazzi Mom

I love being a mom. Today, Nelson and I were hanging out on my bed because Andrew was having a meeting in the living room. Nelson had eaten not that long ago, so he was still in his milk coma goofy stage. He was also in some pretty adorable overalls (if I do say so myself). So, of course, being the paparazzi mom that I am, I proceeded to take about 40 billion pictures. I was lucky to capture the above smiley picture because it was just after Nelson loaded his diaper. Yep. That's my boy.

I can't believe how big Nelson is getting. The overalls and onesie he has on are size 0-3 months. It was a little over a week ago that I realized his newborn onesies were getting a little too snug. It's been pretty fun to put him in a bunch of new outfits that didn't fit him before. Don't you just want to pinch those little cheeks? I do all the time (along with kissing them over and over).

I think Nelson likes all the attention... unless he decides he wants a diaper change and some more to eat. Then he looks like this...

Funny thing is, I still think he's pretty darned cute. :) Did I mention I LOVE being a mom?

Can't be Mad at this Face

So, Nelson had one of his WORST nights ever last night. He normally only wakes up twice during the night, but this time he woke up at least four times. It really took a toll on me--I was REALLY tired. I was so miserably tired, in fact, that I cried right along with my son.

Then, when he woke up about 8 this morning, I peeked in his bassinet only to see this face. He was cooing and talking up a storm. Sigh. How can I be mad at this face?

Later in the afternoon, Andrew took Nelson to the store with him so I could stay at home and catch up on some Zs. I sure love both my boys (even when I want to sell the little one to the gypsies at 2 in the morning). :)
