So, Nelson had one of his WORST nights ever last night. He normally only wakes up twice during the night, but this time he woke up at least four times. It really took a toll on me--I was REALLY tired. I was so miserably tired, in fact, that I cried right along with my son.
Then, when he woke up about 8 this morning, I peeked in his bassinet only to see this face. He was cooing and talking up a storm. Sigh. How can I be mad at this face?
Later in the afternoon, Andrew took Nelson to the store with him so I could stay at home and catch up on some Zs. I sure love both my boys (even when I want to sell the little one to the gypsies at 2 in the morning). :)
I don't think you could have a more perfect baby, Keli. Little Nelson is lucky to have such a wonderful mommy!
ReplyDeleteOur baby didn't sleep AT ALL the first two nights. Like, not one single minute of the night. I just kept thinking, "What have we done?" I was a mess. But it gets better, it seems.
